The Moto 360, the first smart watch we’re truly excited about. (Video’s from Motorola)

It’s Time to Meet Moto 360 as Motorola answers some questions about the New Smart Watch they have been working on and will bring to the world in the near future. Check out the video from Motorola here :

But first Check some visuals of the Moto 360 in Motorola’s other video Moto 360: It’s Time:

We’re very excited about Google’s new Wear OS and it’s heavy design elements from Google Now and it’s card based UI. The Moto G will be one of the first devices to use this new OS and we can’t wait to get one on our wrists, it’s the first Smart Watch we are truly interested in. What are your thoughts on the Moto 360 and Google’s new Wear OS, is it something you could see yourself Rocking on your wrist?

The Moto G is a top level midrange device at an entry level price & it’s headed to Koodo in the coming weeks

Motorola just announced a very exciting device which is as solid a midrange device as it get’s, made more impressive by the low outright price tag attached to it. This device we’re so excited about is the Moto G & that mind blowing low price is just $179 for the 8gb & $199 for the 16gb if purchased directly from Motorola in the US.
You might be saying to yourself “we’ve seen phones for that price already, so what’s so impressive about this phone?”
Well it’s the specs & features you get packed into the Moto G that make that price so damn impressive.

You see the Moto G packs :

– A Beautiful 4.5″ 720p HD LCD display 329ppi (in comparison the Moto X is only 316ppi)
– A Fast 1.2ghz Quad Core Snapdragon 400 processor
– 1gb of Ram
– A 5mp rear camera capable of shooting 720p video
– A 1.3mp front facing camera which is great for video calls
– A 2070mAh Battery
– It’s Running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean & confirmed to be updated to Android 4.4 Kit Kat in January
– It Comes in 8gb & 16gb storage options
– Has the same ergonomic design as the Moto X but slightly thicker which is great because as you seen in our review of the Moto X we think it’s the most comfortable device in the hand of any device ever made.

Compare these specs to other phones in the $200 outright price range & you’ll see what makes this device so attractive.

While we do know that the Moto G is for sure coming to Koodo in the coming weeks we’re not sure about colour or storage options that will be offered or pricing. We have heard rumours of only the black model being offered & only in an 8gb storage option which we’re hoping to be false. We’d really like to see the 16gb model being offered which in our opinion is the lowest storage option that should be offered when there is no external storage option (SD Card) available on a mobile device.
We have heard a rumour that Koodo will sell the 8gb Moto G  for $200 outright but we’ll let you know the full details once they’re available from Koodo, until then check out the full launch event of the Moto X from Motorola below.

Motorola Droid Maxx supposedly pictured here, with possibly a very interesting speaker placement

This is a supposed leak of the new Droid Maxx from Motorola that is said to be available from Verizon on August 8th & will be announced on July 23rd. We’ll have to wait & see if these rumours hold any baring as well as the expected specs, which include like most phones that seem to be coming out soon a snapdragon 800 processor & 2gb’s of RAM. What most phones don’t have is that cool kevlar back which Motorola has become well known for using on their devices.

Something interesting that nobody else seems to have noticed is that the big square around the camera seems to be a very large speaker grill, or at least that’s what it sure looks like to me. It’s great to see more companies could be focusing on packing better sound out of their new devices which is one of few areas that still need improving for most manufacturers.
So what you you think of the design & do you agree with me that is indeed the speaker that is surrounding the camera? Do you hope we see this device in Canada from Rogers?
Let us know in the comments below.

This supposed Motorola Leak is obviously a fake, so why bother everyone?

This picture is circling the Web and claims to be a leak of the Motorola Razor Ultra or some sites said the Moto X (which hello we’ve already seen the back plates of). I have no idea why sites are even posting this questioning it at all because it’s obviously fake as hell.
First the device is on an angle but the writing on the back is perfectly straight across as well as it doesn’t taper thinner as it moves away from the camera.
Then if you look around the writing it’s extremely obvious the terrible photoshop job as you can see the distortion around the words and even the Ferrari logo, as well as why the hell would there be a Ferrari logo on the razor or Moto X that’s only on the Motorola Ferrari model which has nothing to do with either device & is a separate device all together.
I’m just surprised every other Android enthusiasts site is even bothering questioning thus when it’s so obvious?
You can’t deny it but what do you think anyways?

Is Google building a Nexus Phone themselves this time?

A few weeks ago we heard rumours of a couple new devices that Google might be bringing to the table. These were said to be the Google X Phone & Google X Tablet. Well seems there are a few more rumours about this project of Google’s.

It’s rumored that Google is building a Nexus type device with their other company Motorola. Now we’ve seen Nexus devices in the past but these were all built by companies not directly in Google control. This time we could get to see a Google Nexus Phone built actually by Google, well Google/Motorola. Now we’re hearing rumours that this very special Android device could possibly be announced at MWC in Barcelona in a few months.

Rumour also has it we might see this device be the device to showcase Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie on a edge to edge 5″ display. What could be more fitting for Google’s 5th Nexus Phone then one featuring the 5th full version of Android & on a 5″ display all built entirely by Google/Motorola, well nothing.
Take these rumours with a grain of salt because again these are just rumours, although we have seen a lot of rumors in the mobile industry that have been bang on. For now let’s keep our fingers crossed & pray to the tech gods that such a device is in the works.

Do you hope Google is finally taking the Nexus Device into its own hands, if so what would you like to see on this Google built device?
