Well users of the LG Optimus Black on Telus & Koodo have been waiting a long….. LONG time for an update to ICS. It seems that those users are finally getting that Ice Cream love in the form of Android 4.0.4. If you haven’t received a notification to update then either head to your settings – About Phone – Check for update, or if it’s not showing then connect the phone to your PC through LG’s suite software which is downloadable online from LG’s official site.
(The PC connected update is the only way I’ve heard of so far)

*Thanks to Elvis Ahmed for the notification that the update has arrived*

Google Now widget RELEASED!!!!

image

Seems Google let it slip that a widget for Google Now is in the works, & could possibly be released in the near future.
The widget will make using Google Now even better as you will be able to see the info it acquires directly on your home screen and/or lockscreen.

It’s unclear yet if the widget will be available for all versions of Android able to run Google Now or just a select version. I’m sure it will be released through an update to Google Now from the Google PlayStore though.
Have you heard anything else about this widget, perhaps anyone receiving the 4.2.2 update on their Nexus device right now may have got this update as well?
Let us know in the comment section below.
**UPDATE**
Google Now just was updated through the Play store with Widget support!!!!
It seems to be for all devices that are running any version of Jelly Bean. So if you have Google Now already head to the Play store & update.
